Down to Believing is the eighth studio album by singer/songwriter Allison Moorer. It is her first for new label eOne Nashville and sees her reunited with producer Kenny Greenberg who produced her first two albums. The album was recorded over two years and inspired by events in her personal life during that time including her divorce from Steve Earle and her young son's diagnosis with autism.
On her eighth studio album, Allison Moorer reunites with producer Kenny Greenberg. He helmed her first two MCA albums, 1998's Alabama Song and 2000's The Hardest Part. They spent two years recording Down to Believing at various Nashville studios. Life-changing circumstances - living in New York, being the mother of a young son with autism, going through a divorce, the availability of musicians - dictated the pace. Despite all this, Down to Believing is the most focused and candid recording in her catalog.
Down To Believing Tracklist. 1. Like It Used To Be Lyrics. 2. Thunderstorm, Hurricane Lyrics. 3. I Lost My Crystal Ball Lyrics. 4. Down To Believing Lyrics. 5. Tear Me Apart Lyrics.
The Academy and Grammy Award nominated songstress Allison Moorer is set to release her eOne Nashville debut, Down To Believing, on March 17th. Produced by longtime friend and collaborator, guitarist Kenny Greenberg, the album was recorded over two years in Nashville while Moorer commuted back and forth from her home in New York City.
